Cofaceal-Plus Pharmacodynamics
A combination drug, the effect of which is determined by the components that make it up.
Acetylsalicylic acid has analgesic, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory effects associated with inhibition of cyclooxygenases 1 and 2, which regulate the synthesis of prostaglandins; inhibits platelet aggregation.
Caffeine increases reflex excitability of the spinal cord, excites respiratory and vasomotor centers, dilates blood vessels of skeletal muscles, brain, heart, kidneys, reduces platelet aggregation; reduces sleepiness, fatigue, increases mental and physical performance. Paracetamol has antipyretic, analgesic effect.
Indications
It is used in adults with moderate or mildly expressed pain syndrome (headache, toothache, neuralgia, myalgia, thoracic radicular syndrome, lumbago, arthralgia, algodysmenorrhea, migraine), in adults and children over 15 years to reduce the body temperature, with “colds” and other infectious and inflammatory diseases
Contraindications
-High sensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and xanthines;
-erosive-ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract (in the acute phase);
-Severe hepatic or renal dysfunction;
-aspirin asthma;
-Hemorrhagic diathesis (Willebrand disease, hemophilia, telangiectasias, hypoprothrombinemia, thrombocytopenia, thrombocytopenic purpura);
– dissecting aortic aneurysm;
-Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency;
-portal hypertension, vitamin K deficiency.
-anxiety disorders (agoraphobia, panic disorder)
-organic diseases of the cardiovascular system (acute myocardial infarction, arterial hypertension, paroxysmal tachycardia, frequent ventricular extrasystoles)
-glaucoma
-Surgery accompanied by bleeding Pregnancy and lactation
It is contraindicated for use during pregnancy in the I and III trimesters, during the second trimester of pregnancy.
Dosage and administration
- The drug is taken orally after eating 1 -2 tablets 2-3 times a day. The maximum daily dose is 6 tablets. A break between doses of the drug should be at least 4 hours. To reduce the irritant effect on the gastrointestinal tract, the drug should be taken after a meal with water, milk, alkaline mineral water.
- If kidney or liver function is impaired, a break between doses should be at least 6 hours.
- The drug should not be taken for more than 5 days if prescribed as an analgesic and for more than 3 days as an antipyretic. Other dosages and regimens are determined by the physician.
