Betiol Pharmacodynamics
Combination drug; has antispasmodic (mottle extract) and anti-inflammatory (ichthyol) effects.

Indications
Hemorrhoids, anal fissures.

Contraindications .
Hypersensitivity to the drug, closed-angle glaucoma, benign prostatic hyperplasia, obstructive diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, bowel atony, active ulcerative colitis, chronic heart failure in decompensation, tachycardia, myasthenia, pregnancy, breast-feeding, age under 18 years.

Dosage and administration method

• Rectally, after a purging enema or self-emptying. Apply 1 suppository 1-3 times a day, but no more than 10 suppositories a day. Usually the course of treatment is 7-10 days.
