Description
Berberine Pharmacodynamics
The drug has a choleretic and antispasmodic effect, decreases muscle tone of the gall bladder, reduces the amplitude of its contractions, and promotes bile secretion. When Berberin increases the secretion of bile, reducing its viscosity, normalizes the biochemical composition of bile.
Indications
Chronic liver, gallbladder, biliary tract and sphincter of Oddi hypokinetic type.
Contraindications .
Hypersensitivity, pregnancy.
With caution:
Use with caution in cholelithiasis.
Dosage and administration.
Inside, 5-10 mg three times a day, before a meal. The course of treatment – 2-4 weeks.
