Timalin Pharmacodynamics
Restores the disturbed immunological reactivity (regulates the number and the ratio of T- and B-lymphocytes and their subpopulations, stimulates cellular immunity, increases phagocytosis), stimulates regeneration and hematopoiesis in case of their inhibition, and improves the course of cellular metabolism.
Indications
Immunodeficiency in adults and children (from 6 months to 14 years) at:
– Infectious purulent and septic processes;
– Permanent thymus dysfunction (radiation disease, neoplastic processes of the thymus, surgical removal of the thymus);
– Acute and chronic viral and bacterial infections;
– Impaired regenerative processes;
– Immunosuppression and hematopoiesis after chemotherapy or radiation therapy in patients with cancer.
Contraindications .
Hypersensitivity to the active or excipient of the drug, pregnancy and lactation.

Directions for use and dosages
- The contents of the bottle before injection is dissolved in 1-2 ml of 0.9% sodium chloride solution. The drug is intramuscularly injected daily for 3-10 days depending on the severity of immune disorders in the following dosages: adults, 5-20 mg (30-100 mg per course), children: 6 months to 1 year – 1 mg;
- 1-3 years old – 1.5-2 mg;
- 4-6 years old – 2-3 mg;
- 7-14 years old – 3-5 mg.
- If necessary, a repeated course is carried out (in 1-6 months).
- For preventive purposes, the drug is used intramuscularly daily, 5-10 mg for adults, 1-5 mg for 3-5 days in children.
