Description
Calzex Pharmacodynamics
The action of this complex drug is due to its constituents. Methenamine belongs to the class of antiseptics and disinfectants, to the group of aldehydes. The action is based on the ability of the drug to decompose in an acidic environment with the formation of formaldehyde, which in this case has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties.
The complex salt of methenamine is present to compensate for the lack of calcium ions, to reduce the permeability of cell membranes and the vascular wall, to prevent the development of inflammatory reactions.
