Description
Detravenol Pharmacodynamics
The drug is a purified micronized flavonoid fraction,
consisting of diosmin and other flavonoids in terms of hesperidin. This combination has venotonic and angioprotective properties. It reduces venous distensibility and venous stasis, in the microcirculation – reduces capillary permeability and increases their resistance, improves indices of venous hemodynamics. It affects the following venous plethysmographic parameters: venous capacity, venous distensibility, time of venous emptying. The optimal effect is achieved when taking 1000 mg. The drug increases venous tone by reducing the time of venous emptying. In patients with signs of a pronounced impairment
increased capillary resistance is noted in patients with signs of a pronounced microcirculatory disturbance.
The efficacy of the drug with respect to the indices of venous hemodynamics in the treatment of chronic diseases of the lower limbs veins, as well as in the treatment of hemorrhoids has been demonstrated.
